Oh, they really do deserve it. It's exam results day here in the UK where 17/18 year olds find out whether they managed to get into their chosen universities or not. My sister went to get her results from her school, and was a bit disappointed with them (but then so were 90% of the other girls, this year has not been good exam-wise) and hasn't managed to find out whether her uni has accepted her or not. Instead of offering any helpful advice or reassurance, her head of year came up to her and said in a /really/ angry tone - "shouldn't you be on a phone right now? 8/"
It's a step up from what she said to me, though, which was absolutely nothing. I got fairly bad results last year (though still got into uni based on extracurricular music exams, whoo!) and was practically whisked away out the back entrance so the 'good' girls wouldn't have to see the 'failure'. :/

O_o
With a rake? Sideways?
Ow.
Also. If someone as sweet as you would wish that on someone. They MUST deserve it.
